The skirt is a full circle, and it is wonderfully twirly. The scrap fabric is held in place with hundreds, if not thousands, of lines of stitching.
You must be wondering: is this skirt heavy? Well yes, it is (each of these skirts weighs between 2 and 3 pounds), however there is a waistband composed of all the layers of the skirt in addition to twill, to provide the needed structural support for the weight of the skirt. We believe you will find it quite comfortable, as the full circle shape allows the skirt to sit away from the body. The waistband is 4” thick and is the waist measurement; it is recommended that you size up if between sizes because the waistband must fit around more than your actual waist.
